Care Works was established in 2004. It is a new and unique organization, committed to the delivery of a high quality attendant care service that meet and promote the needs of people living in the community with severe physical disabilities.
Care Works aims to enhance client independence and thus enable them to pursue their desired life style choices.
Care Works is committed to providing a service that :
- Actively supports the client’s individual life style choices and is responsive to their changing circumstances and needs
- Is delivered with dignity, courtesy, honesty and in a manner that respects clients rights
- Delivers services without discrimination on the grounds of sex, race, culture, language, religion, disability or sexual preference.
- Is sensitive to the client’s cultural background and values.
- Ensures safe delivery of care by competent, professionally trained, and caring staff
- Is delivered in accordance with the standards of performance prescribed by the Disability Service Standards.
