Induction, Training and Orientation

The induction session will provide you with important information about your role as an employee of Care Works. You will also receive a self directed orientation package, to be completed within the first 4 weeks of employment.

When you are placed with a client you will be trained and oriented to your new role. The amount of training you receive will depend on the level of knowledge and experience you possess and how it matches up to the individual needs of the clients you will be working with.

During the early weeks of your employment, as your skills develop, you will be required to pass a competency assessment to ensure that you are working according to our policies and procedures. You will also learn more about your role and increase your skills and knowledge by attending our group training workshops.
